FRUIT SALAD MAKING COMPETITION FOR NUR MOTHERS

“All the fruits are very beautiful,

They keep us happiful,

And make us cheerful,

When we eat mouthful.

Fruit salad is a dish consisting of various kinds of fruit, sometimes served in a liquid, either in their own juices or a syrup. Fruit salads can be served as appetizers, desserts or as a side-salad.

The mothers of our NURSERY chirpy champs enthusiastically participated in the fruit salad making competition  at UNIVERSAL CHAMPS. The winner mothers were awarded the exciting prizes like Chef cap, apron  and certificate…….& the achievement’s goes to:-

Winner= Mrs. ANUKRUTI  LAHOTI

1st runner-up = Mrs. PUSHPA PATIDAR

2nd runner-up = Mrs. MANISHA SHARMA

 

FRUIT SALAD MAKING COMPETITION

Fruit Salad Making Competition was organized for the students of Sr.kg at UNIVERSAL CHAMPS on 16/09/2019. The objective behind the competition was to inculcate healthy food habits and awareness regarding the choice of food. Cleanliness, safety, taste and presentation were the basic criterion for the judgment. The participants’ creativity was revealed through the beautiful designs and patterns formed with different mouth watering.

ECOLOGICAL DAY

To increase the awareness about the negative changes in our environment, ecological day was celebrated in UNIVERSAL CHAMPS a unit of  St. Mary Champion’s School at Suryadev Nagar Campus. The main aim of observing this day is to change attitude towards environment and advocate partnership between each human being and society to ensure a safe future.

Plant a sapling, you plant a new life. The school authorities motivated the students to plant more and more trees in order to make the surroundings green .The teachers guided the student to make different articles from the waste materials, how to nurture plants ,what is  biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste, how we can recycle it etc.

INDEPENDENCE DAY

“Where each bud blooms in its true colors,

Where each day is a celebration of unity and harmony,

We are proud to be the children of that land of festivals, holy rivers, sacred shrines, lush green valleys and history of diverse cultures.”

Keeping this in mind the children of UNIVERSAL CHAMPS a unit of SMCS celebrated the free spirit of Independence Day with enthusiasm and joy on Wednesday,14th August 2019. The area was ablaze with the colors of the national flag and was decorated with Independence Day craft such as tri color balloons, pigeons and a huge flag.

The children worked very hard to put up a good show. The Jr. kg students represented the different states of India  and came dressed up in beautiful costumes. The Chirpy champs our Nursery children did Suryanamaskar displaying the ancient tradition of India. Sr.kg students performed a mind blowing and eye opening nukkad natak asking for Independence againt corruption, inflation, religious politics, casteism and other social evils. The Sr.kg students conducted the entire program and alsomade everyone recite the pledge. The dance presented by the Jr.kg and Sr.kg students brought to light the sacrifices of our brave soldiers.

To conclude, PRINCIPAL MA’AM Mrs. Isabel Swamy applauded the efforts of the students and inspired them to be independent, confident and proud Indians. Finally we all stood for the national anthem.

RAIN DANCE PARTY

Barso re megha megha…. Cham cham cham……. To embrace these lines (songs) yesterday ie.on 25/07/19 our tiny tots enjoyed the rain dance at the garden of UNIVERSAL CHAMPS. School kids were overjoyed on the rainy day. Rainy day for them means a day full of fun. All the kids were dancing holding colourful umbrellas and wearing beautiful dresses.

SHAPES DAY

It was a day of Fun with Shapes at UNIVERSAL CHAMPS for the Pre-Primary Wing. Various activities were organized for classes NUR- KGII to encourage participation and to promote creative and aesthetic skills.

Tiny tots enjoyed some great ideas and played simple games about learning shapes. A fun filled and joyful activity provided to our little ∇ones a platform to develop and showcase their latent talents.

 

COLOURS’ WEEK

Colours! Colours! Colours! So many colours! So different colours! So beautiful colours! Colours truly bring joy and happiness into our lives. Life without colours would be so boring and dull. Colours fill our life with vibrance and excitement. There is a colour for every emotion in our lives. Red for love, white for peace, blue for gloom, green for jealousy and greed, purple for wealth, yellow for energy, black for evil, pink for kindness, brown for strength and orange for enthusiasm.

To familiarize all the children with these wonderful colours, we had organized a colours’ week. All the children along with the teachers came dressed up in the colour that was being celebrated. The children also brought along with them an object of the same colour. The children not only learnt differentiate different colour. Every student was asked to speak about their object which boosted their confidene and enhanced their commmication skills. The children enjoyed the colours’ week thoroughly.

INDUCTION PROGRAM 2019-20

Today we had an auspicious occasion of Induction program in our school for universal champ’s parents. Chief Guest for the function were director sir and Principal Mam. Welcome speech was delivered by Mrs. Rashmi  Shishulkar. The introduction of Program was given by Mrs. Soniya  Jaiswani . The introduction and explanation of our teaching  methodology was given  to the parents through a power point presentation  by  Mrs. Steffi Swamy . Some Montessori activities such as pouring of water from a jug into a glass and arranging pink tower were demonstrated by Miss Varsha Punjabi ,Mrs. Sangeeta Nigam, Mrs  Dipti Tilloo and Miss Priyanka Karla.It helped the parents to understand Montessori Method.

Following activities were Demonstrated.

[1] Pouring of water from jug to a glass. This Activity helped parents to understand how it will develop Muscular and eye co-ordination of the child .

[2]This activity was held by Mrs. Steffy Swamy and Mrs.Dipti Tilloo . Papers and pens  were distributed to the parents and they were asked to write with the help of  their toes, which was not possible for them .With this activity parents were explained that how  children  find it difficult  to write when their fine motor skill s are not developed. 

[3] Pink Tower demonstration was given by Mrs Dipti Tilloo and Miss. Priyanka karla . In this activity tower was made with the help of blocks .Through this activity parents understood that how this activity will help their children to develop their muscular.

Co-ordination and the concept of gradation.Words of wisdom and enlightenment were delivered by our Respected Principal mam (Mrs. Isabel  Swamy).She discuss many parent related issues . At last but not the least vote of thanks was given to all the guests by Miss Priyanka Karla. Parents were very happy and satisfied with the program and with new teaching method introduce.
