Continuous Assessment-

The assessment done at universal champs will be continuous and comprehensive. The evaluation will not be based on just his/her academic performance, but the aspects of personality development and psychological development will be given equal importance.

Trimester Assessment-

The continuous assessment will be done by the teacher every month. The assessment of three months will then be pooled together to find out the growth and the development of the child in the various areas such as comprehensive, physical, artistic, social and linguistic development. The assessment will not only be based on subjects such as English, Hindi, Math but will focus on the critical thinking and the reasoning ability of the child, which is the most important skill required in children today. Thus, the session is divided into three terms, June- September (Term -1), October-December (Term -2) and January- March (Term – 3).

No Written Examination-

This year onwards there will be no written examination (SAI & SAII) for the pre-primary students of classes Nursery, KGI and KGII. The assessment will be more in-depth, rigorous and multifaceted catering all the aspects of child development, which asses the physical and mental growth of a child in equal measure. Hence, the evaluation will not consist of marks and grades.

Parents’- Teacher Meeting-

PTM is conducted every month where the parents can know about the progress of their child. The academic worksheets, colouring and art & craft done by the child in that month will be shown to the parents during the PTM.
